IPC Section 289A: Feeding Of Monkeys In Public Place

Whoever throws eatables in public place, other than those notified by the State Government in the Official Gazette, and thereby entice monkeys to assemble at such place fro taking eatables which result in causing danger to human life or to be likely to cause injury or annoyance to the public or to the people in general or to cause hindrance in smooth running of vehicular traffic, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to one month or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both”.
